PRAYING
FAITH is our response.
As followers of Christ, we believe in every circumstance that the Lord is our helper and deliverer. We cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. We passionately believe that the Lord is sovereign over our lives and our nations and even over sickness. Covid-19 never took God by surprise.
Philippians 4:6-7 ‘Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’
At Hope City, we have joined the Unite714 Prayer Movement along with Pastors, leaders, churches, and individuals from around the world, with one heart, one voice and one prayer, to see God move in the midst of this pandemic.
Unite714 is based on God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, that when we humble ourselves, unite in prayer and seek his face, turn away from our evil ways, He will hear us, forgive our sins and heal our lands.

SERVING
GENEROUSITY is our heart
While none of us ever imagined being affected by something like COVID-19, here at Hope City we believe God has provided us a unique opportunity to Spread Hope to our island. Although we are still in the pre-launch phase of our church, people are our passion and there are so many needs around us that we are called to respond.
To date we have distributed: 70 cooked lunches, 60 grocery hampers, 30 baked breads, 20 toiletries hampers, 12 chickens and paid the rent for 3
homes for 2 months.
Hope City has also partnered with ITNAC (Is there not a cause), a local non-profit organization who is doing a tremendous work at helping many affected families of Trinidad with the physical needs of food and clothing during this time.
